Different Awards For Celebrities
Almost everyone appreciates film and music entertainment. Most people have their favourite celebrity from both the film and music industry. However, although celebrities may already have all the money, fame, and glory that they need, all of them are wishing for something else – to win an award.
There are three major awards that are given to actors and actresses, namely the Academy Award, the Emmy Award, and the Golden Globe Award. Out of the three, the Academy or Oscars is the most coveted. The Emmy Award is for television, so they do not include movie flicks in the nominations. Out of the different categories, the best actor/actress, the best supporting actor/ actress and the best pictures are the most sought after awards.
On the music scene, on the other hand, the Grammys is the equivalent of the Oscars. They provide awards for singles, albums, artists, and others. Music lovers wait for the Grammys every year to find out if their favourite artist or any of his songs have garnered an award. The MTV music award is also becoming popular but it is focused more for the younger generation and mostly recognise only modern music that have younger audiences.
These awards contribute a lot in keeping the television, film, and music industries alive and in continuing to inspire artists to give only quality entertainment and performance to the public, particularly to their fans. And aside from that, the pride of winning an award will last with them for a lifetime.
